Wrap up of We Were Liars. Beginning of The Color of Water

Hey everyone! Its been awhile since I have made a blog. Which therefore mean the more I have to tell you:) So, I finished We were Liars and the ending was way different than I would of expected it! I'm not sure if I like it so much... (Spoiler Alert) Gat, Mirren, and Johnny were basically ghosts the whole time. Like what?!? But it does sum up everything with what happened in the fire and how they all died. But overall I really liked the book! And I do recommend everyone to read it:)
 

Now that I finished We Were Liars. I started The Color of Water. This is about a black mans tribute to his white mother. This book is told both of the life of James and the life of his mother. But in their perspective so it is a memoir. The chapters switch every other throughout the book. We are reading The Color of Water in class. And I'm pretty sure everyone who is actually reading it really likes it. I know I do. In this book you see a lot of racism and the view on civil rights in the 1900s. Which also makes you look at life now and realize how much it has changed. I'm very excited to see where this book leads James, his mother, and his family. Next time I blog I will probably be done reading and Ill let you know!
